We support policies that create good-paying jobs in clean energy, healthcare, and manufacturing — industries that can sustain families here for decades. We back small businesses with access to capital, workforce training programs, and infrastructure investments that make Lewis County a place where businesses want to locate and workers want to stay.

Healthcare Access
Quality, affordable healthcare for every Lewis County resident — no matter where they live.
Too many Lewis County residents drive hours for basic medical care. Rural hospital closures, specialist shortages, and high insurance costs are a crisis — not an inconvenience. We support expanding Medicaid, funding rural health clinics, and investing in telehealth infrastructure so that a person in Jane Lew or Walkersville gets the same quality of care as someone in Charleston.

Education & Schools
Fully funded public schools and affordable higher education for every Lewis County student.
Our public schools are the foundation of our community. We support full funding for K-12 education, competitive teacher pay, and resources for students with special needs. We also believe higher education should be within reach — whether that means a four-year degree, a trade certificate, or a two-year program at Pierpont Community College. Student debt should not be a life sentence.

Affordable Housing
Safe, stable, affordable housing for working families across Lewis County.
Housing costs have risen faster than wages in Lewis County, pushing families out of the communities where they work. We support county-level incentives for affordable housing development, stronger tenant protections, and investment in workforce housing near major employers. Nobody who works in Lewis County should be unable to afford to live here.

Environment & Climate

A clean energy transition done right means more jobs, lower energy bills, and a healthier environment for our kids.

Democracy & Voting Rights
Every Lewis County voter deserves a fair, accessible, and secure election.
Democracy works when everyone can participate. We support West Virginia's vote-by-mail system, automatic voter registration, and strong protections against voter suppression. We also believe in campaign finance transparency so voters know who is funding the candidates on their ballot. Local elections matter — and every vote should count.
